Virginia Arlene Koziol, 82 of Centerville passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
Virginia was born to Bernard & Inez (Main) DeBoule on February 6, 1929 in Moravia. She received her education from Moravia High School, graduating in 1946. Virginia married Eliga Koziol on April 30, 1955 in Mystic. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, sewing and music.

Virginia is survived by her husband Eliga of Centerville, three children; Kathleen Summy(Kelly) of DeSoto, Kristina McNeish(Jim) of Iowa City, David Koziol of Ankey, three grandchildren; Jonah, Elijah and Seth McNeish of Iowa City and a sister Margaret Zimmer of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Bernard Koziol in 1979.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with Fr. Dennis Schaab C.PP.S officiating. Visitation will be all day Friday with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home. Interment will be in Haines Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Haines Cemetery, which may be left at or mailed to Thomas Funeral Home - 23548 Hwy 5 - PO Box 125 - Centerville, Iowa 52544.
