Roger we will miss you. My fondest memories were when we would go to Iowa to visit grandma Laske and your family. I remember us cousins would light fire crackers on top o the hill at grandma Laske's farm. We are sorry for your loss Phyllis, Doug and Jim as well as to his daughters and grandchildren. I was very lucky to have attended school with Roger and proud to call him a true friend. He could make you laugh and always had a smile on his face.

For his short life he dealt with many issues that not anyone should have had to deal with, but he made the decisions and managed to carry on with life. I can say that when we lost our first son I had ran into Roger and he had a big bear hug and told me how sorry he was to hear of my loss and told me if I ever needed or wanted someone to talk with he was there. When ever I would encounter Roger in our life's passages he always had time to stop talk and make sure that he had time to exchange our life's happens.

Roger was not only a friend, he was a loving son, husband, brother, father, grandfather and so much more to so many. Roger will difanity be missed and I am sure that God has gained yet another Angel!

May you all stay strong and through the memories of Roger live on through his children and other other family members.

Sometimes we wait until to late to know someone. Our memories were from your young ages when your parents and us would get together and go camping. With your cousins being about the same age you had a good time. You were lucky to have had two mother's. I know Phylis loved you as her sons. We have known Jim down thru the years but not Doug. Through electronics we hope to get to know Doug. May God Bless your families and be with you throughout this sorrowful time. So sorry we can't get to Iowa at this time.

I'd never done anything like that but with Rogers help we got started. All seemed to go well till we started the top burners and had forgotten to light the pilot light in the oven. I'll never forget how scared we all were when the door blew open. Doug, Jim. Me, being a red neck farm girl never knew you had tried to run me off. Like I said, I just thought you were quirky kids and just took all the foolish things you did. You boys I will never forget, you helped make who I am today. Thank You.

So sorry to hear about Roger. My heart goes to you and your family. I have many memories of Roger in school. In fact he was the first boy I ever dated. He was so much taller than me, that dancing gave me a stiff neck, but I didn't mind. I also didn't mind him stepping on my foot now and then. He was such a sweet and compassionate guy.
May you live in the hearts of all who knew you forever, I know you will in mine.

I actually had the fortune of working with Roger for nearly 5 years in Centerville. What a pleasure he was, and the things that we did together are fond memories. I wish to offer condolences to Doug and Jim, and also to Phyllis. My heart goes out to you and all the rest of his family. God Bless!

I remember when Roger was a baby and I would carry him around and all he wanted to do was flip the light switches on and off. Aunt Mary, was a wonderful mother and adored her boys. Jimmy and Dougie I am so sorry for your loss.

I cannot express enough how special our dad was. For a man to attach himself to a family like ours and endure it with love and care shows just how special he really was.
I share the sentiments of my younger sister, Tawna. His heart, though fragile as it was, was larger than any one person's could be. In the capacity of a father he excelled. To dad's family, thank you for bringing up such a wonderful person. Thank you for teaching him to be so caring and loving.
I will miss him so much!
