Nicole was definitely an amazing person! She was always so happy and truly seemed to love her job. My son looked forward to safety lessons with her and was always excited if she went on field trips with the class. We will certainly will miss her!

Our favorite memory of Nicole is seeing her, Mason and Dick racing up to the Crazy Horse memorial in South Dakota leaving Jerry and I way behind huffing and puffing up the mountain. Nicole had a delightful personality.

So sorry for your loss.

There are no words to describe the loss of Nicole. She really was a shining star at Strawberry Hill. She will be missed by all and never forgotten. My heart and prayers go out to her family.

We had the pleasure of knowing Nicole through our daughter and son-inlaw Teresa and Tyler. What a wonderful and beautiful young woman she was. Sadly and tragically. we are reminded of how short and unfair life can be. Rhino and Kypton, our thoughts and prayers are with you always. You will see glimpses of Nicole through Kypton everyday that will keep her memory alive..treasure those moments and have faith. God Bless you both and all of your family.

I had the privilege of working with Nicole this school year. Nicole was passionate and dedicated to her work with students. She was a "dynamo" with a contagious smile and energy. She will be sorely missed. My heart aches for Nicole's family, friends and the Strawberry Hill community. May we find peace knowing that Nicole's spirit lives on in the many lives that she touched.

With sympathy,
Katy Lee

When you read all the memories, one theme rings clear, Nicole helped more people in her young life than most people do who live to be old! When you have great teachers, you become one! I'm referring to the Whisler and Bozwell families, the Apple didn't fall too far from the tree! May God be with you all!

Nicole,

I can't stop saying how I can't believe this has happened and that you are gone. It just does not seem real and it is absolutely devastating to know we have lost such a vibrant, amazing, and young woman with so much drive and unfinished business here. My heart breaks for Kiptyn knowing that he will grow up without you but you will surely be by his side in other ways.

You have impacted me greatly in the time that I've known you and worked with you at Strawberry Hill. I always related to you in the passion that we shared for children, our love for life, and our passion for being the best mommies that we could be. I will miss seeing your face at school and it will sadden me for a long time that you are not there. Rest in peace sweet girl and I will see you later.

For Nicole's family:

“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you.”

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to all of Nicole's family. Nicole was a very sweet and compassionate person. The students at Wapsie Valley just loved her and you could see how invested she was in each one of them. Nicole was very professional when dealing with student issues and was always very willing when asked to deal with any situation. We hated to lose Nicole after just one year with us, but also knew how excited she was to get her "dream job" back in her hometown area. Nicole will never be forgotten! My prayers are with all of you as you go through this very difficult time.
