Memory Book for Genevieve Adams

Genevieve was such a good friend to my mother, Becky! They used to study the Bible together and prayed regularly. The missionary trips they both had taken gave them many memories and stories to share.
May the family be comforted in knowing that heaven is the most wonderful place anyone could ever go. Thank God Jesus made the way for "Whomsoever will" to come unto Him!

James and Siblings, Our sincere condolences about the passing of your Mom. Knowing your character James, makes me know she was a really nice lady even though I did not personally know her. Sincerely, Sheila J Starcevich & Howard S Friedman MD

Genevieve will be missed! I met at her while attending BRSM and she was so sweet and comforting. She was one of the "Moms" that took care of us young kids away from home. She would always have the kind words to say when we were home sick or needed some prayers. Heaven is rejoicing and one day we will meet again.

I remember when she came to BRSM and her graduation. It was the most precious moment was seeing the joy on her face.

Candle

Genevieve didn't learn how to drive until after her husband Duane passed away. The fact that she not only learned to drive late in life, but braved the challenges of driving herself further and further afield, to Des Moines, to Nebraska, and eventually to Pensacola, Florida!, illustrates in a small way her strength of character, faith in the future, and trust that the Lord her Shepherd would always be there to take care of her, no matter where a wrong turn might take her! She was a faithful, loyal friend who supported those fortunate enough to know her through thick and thin. She was always there for us, firm and clear about the things that really matter in life: children, spouses, families, our relationship with the Lord. She was a source of wisdom and direction. She lived in an awareness of others' needs. Those needs she could do something about, whether it was a timely phone call, a homemade dessert, a word of encouragement, she would act to meet. Those needs she knew were too deep to be touched by a human being or beyond her abilities to meet, she took faithfully to prayer. She leaves a void in our lives that no one else can ever fill, but she hasn't really left us. I feel her presence hovering near us even now... praying for those she left behind, that we all may one day be alive with her again.

Ms Genevieve was one of the first people I met when I moved from Scotland to Pensacola, Fl to study at Brownsville. Ms Genevieve was one of the most kindest, caring and loving people I ever spent time with. A true gem!

Genevieve was a very special lady. It was my joy to know her as a student at BRSM. She was a lover of God and revival. Our prayers are with her family.
